Curated purposefully as a community experience, driven by a shared love of food, music and drinks.

We did quick weekly sprints, experimenting with different identity styles and directions, and finally landed on what you see now: a bold, no-nonsense, straightforward look featuring Coolvetica. Contrasted the simple font with interesting layouts, giving the space a nostalgic, warm, and muted core that complements its character.

Our identity pieces include everything from the launch video to print materials like merch and menus. We even designed t-shirts that people would actually want to wear. While we considered a retro, nostalgic route, this aesthetic just fit the space best.

Key Insights

Working with a team of stakeholders and ensuring internal alignment was crucial for the smooth running of this project. I learned that while presenting bold, outlandish options can be exciting, the best identity isn't always the most unique—it's the one that complements the space best. This realization helped us bring more mature and dynamic brand systems into play. It also underscored the importance of brand extensions and ensuring that the system we create can be effectively used by other designers.
